Absolute Locating is owned and managed by Richard and Lisa Lamontagne, and their 4 daughters, Halynne, Joelle, Bryn, and Cassidy. Absolute Locating evolved from Bro-Kin Anchoring Services Ltd., which Richard operated since 1996, until he purchased the company in 2002.

Absolute Locating currently employs 11 staff, including 4 line locating units, and 1 anchor truck. Absolute Locating has coverage for Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Absolute Locating proudly services many customers, including - CNRL, Enbridge, BP Canada, Husky Energy, NAL Resources, Canetic Energy Trust, Penn West Petroleum, Enerplus Resources Fund, Thunder Energy, Harvest Operations, Pemoco Ltd., and Arc Resources Trust.
