Absolute Locating is a full service line locating company based in Oxbow, Arcola, Weyburn Sask and in Virden Manitoba.

Since 2002, Absolute Locating has been specializing in line locating throughout the South-East Saskatchewan and South-West Manitoba oilfields. Expansion to cover central Alberta occurred in the summer of 2006.

Absolute Locating has grown due to our commitment to maintain the best locating equipment and employee training available, combined with years of locating and field experience. GPS map making provides a permanent record of our locates, and provides our customers with a comprehensive service which gives them the confidence required to effectively complete their ground disturbances.

Absolute Locating still operates a full service anchor truck, formerly operating as Bro-Kin Anchoring Services Ltd, now known as Absolute Anchoring.

All employees are trained in relevant safety courses, including H2S Alive, 1st Aid/CPR, and WHIMIS, with all locators trained in Line Locator Tech 1, and anchor truck operators in ground disturbance. We are proud to have our safety program recieve COR status from Enform, ensuring that our focus at Absolute Locating is safety.

Examples of the dangers of line strikes only serve as a reminder of what can happen when facilities are improperly located. Lost production, damage to equipment and personnel, and even death can occur when underground facilities are damaged. Often these incidents are avoidable, and by utilizing the best equipment, training, and experience available to provide accurate, reliable locates, we help our customers dig safely every day.
